Welcome to Oxford Holiday Cottages. We have three converted barns in rural South Oxfordshire. Each barn has been sympathetically renovated, retaining many of the original features including timber walls, exposed beams and stone floors. Modern luxuries include water softeners, under-floor heating both downstairs and upstairs as well as fully-equipped kitchens, utility rooms and shower rooms. Heating and hot water are provided by air-source heat pumps making for clean energy.

 

Each self-catering barn is warm, cosy and comfortable, set in its own secure, large private garden. We're located some 700 metres along a small country track which also doubles up as a footpath, ideal for walkers who can access the path from the barns' gates as well as cyclists who want to get out and explore the country roads in this picturesque part of the county. Entry to each barn is via electric gate and cars can be parked safely outside each property. Wifi is also available in every barn.

We're under an hour away from Heathrow Airport, just over an hour from Birmingham Airport and 30 minutes from Didcot, Haddenham Thame Parkway and Oxford stations. By car, Junction 7 of the M40 is a 10 to 15 minutes drive and the Didcot junction of the A34 is roughly 20 to 25 minutes. Oxford city centre is just under 9 miles from us.

Peace, calm and tranquility are what we're about here. Turn up, kick off your shoes and do nothing for a week if you're in need of relaxation time in a quiet environment. Otherwise, pick a few of the lovely places to visit listed on our 'Nearby' page or just walk from the door across the fields and enjoy the amazing vistas.
